Prior Learning Assessment (PLA)
What is Prior Learning Assessment?
We have a formalized Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) process for the following courses within our Microsoft Office Skills Training (MOST) Certificate Program. This PLA process has been set up to allow us to recognize and place students appropriately based on their prior learning and experience.
MOST courses currently eligible for Prior Learning Assessment:
Core
- Word Level 1 (CMWO 001)
- Excel Level 1 (CMEX 001)
- Access Level 1 (CMAC 001)
- PowerPoint (CMPP 001)
Electives
- Word Level 2 (CMWO 002)
- Excel Level 2 (CMEX 002)
- Access Level 2 (CMAC 002)
- Outlook (CMOU 001)
- Publisher (CMPU 001)
All other courses in the program are NOT eligible for PLA at this time.
(Note that there is a processing fee associated with the PLA process.)
